Music Wednesday

The Commitments is one of the great under-rated films of the ’90’s. It’s double-sided soundtrack was very familiar in my household. The band’s version of “The Dark End of the Street” is my personal favorite. First made popular by James Carr in 1967.

NY Times film critic A.O. Scott is also a fan.
