Mid Terms rehash

Perhaps Jeff and I spoke to soon…

In our Mid Terms 2010 podcast we discussed the prospects of Arlen Specter getting re-elected despite the fact that he switched to the Democratic Party after being a life-long Republican. It looks like Specter might not make it out of the primary (ironic, as the main reason he switched parties by his own admittance was he couldn’t win in the GOP primary). Currently Rep Joe Sestak is ahead of Specter by a small margin, and the momentum has been behind him in the last few weeks. The primary is next Tuesday, May 18th.

In Arkansas, Sen. Blanche Lincoln (who we also thought would make it out of the primary) is marginally ahead and that race could lead to a run-off.
