2012 watch

Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty – sort of a redundant “unofficial” 2012 GOP candidate – has hedged his bets against health care and announced his state is joining other states to challenge the constitutionality of the health care bill, against the will of his state’s AG. Wonder what group he’s trying to impress?

Pawlenty is one of the consistent mentions among 2012 GOP hopefuls, we mentioned him in one of our first podcasts. As far as this move goes he’s clearly just trying to cement his “conservative credentials” much like his likely future opponents.
