Don’t Ask Don’t Tell Don’t Go Away

The President got a lot of applause lines on Weds night during the state of the union. His promise to repeal Don’t Ask Don’t Tell Policy towards the end of his speech was one of them. It was just a line. The President could have easily removed that section from his address, very easily. But he didn’t and it got a big applause.

So that sort of begs the question: Mr. President, Congress…what’s the hold up? The NY Times editorial today is about just that and suggests the President should lead the charge. Here Here. And in the President’s own words from the other night, “It’s the right thing to do.”

Here is a podcast we did about DADT last year.
