Health Care and Today’s election

For those not in the know, today the state of Massachusetts is holding a special election to refill the late Ted Kennedy’s Senate seat. Attorney General Martha Coakley (D) against State Senator Scott Brown (R), and the most recent polls declare it a toss-up if not leaning Brown. If he wins, the Dems lose their 60 seat majority in the Senate and health care reform could be at grave risk. Or is it?

Josh Marshall at Talking Points Memo has written this note on what might happen if Brown is declared the winner. A Must Read.

And, of course, the best take on this insanity goes to Jon Stewart. Brilliant.
