Strange Movie News of the Day

According to a post on Nikki Finke’s site. The much anticipated Scorsese directed thriller Shutter Island, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, will not be coming out in a couple of months and is now going to be released in theaters February 2010.

Lots of guesses on why. Changing a film’s set release date is certainly an indicator the film has problems, but not always so.  But to do it less than two months out when posters are already out in theaters and magazines already published articles about the Fall Movie Season. Curious.
