We’re two guys in their late 20s, living in Los Angeles, who like to talk movies, politics and on occasion the intersection between the two. It’s not quite NPR, and it’s definitely not Crossfire, but hopefully it will be interesting, challenging or informative. Maybe even all three at once. This is a very complicated case.
This project started out as a podcast but quickly ballooned into a blog as well. We post to the blog and record our podcasts as often as we can, and switch regularly between film and political topics. Along with being posted to the blog, the podcast is also available via an RSS feed on the main website, and best of all it’s available for download on iTunes.
Oh yeah, and we love the film The Big Lebowski.

I love your website. vv cool. keep it up.

transactionalHello,
Hope you’re well and enjoying some of the early weekend sunshine!
Thanks a lot for featuring AC/DC’s ‘Iron Man 2′ soundtrack on your site. As a little
thank you, we’ve been sent an exclusive 40 second teaser of the “making of Shoot To
Thrill” video that is featured on the deluxe and collector’s edition of the album.
I’m sending you a short video via Yousendit, which you can use to download the video
and then put on the site. It would be great if you could let me know once it’s been
put up!
Hope you have a good weekend.
David

so let me see if i got this right…the two of you aces are a couple of unemployed 20something (know-next-to-nothing but filled with self-esteem) LA talkers. you have a thought and you just have to blog it on the pronto. more boring bloggers who contribute little. just what the world needs.

I must confess, I missed the memo stating that, before starting a blog, everyone has to check with the world at large to determine if it’s “needed.”
As for employment, I’ll cop to doing relatively sparse freelance work until recently. But interestingly enough, this blog/podcast is a big part of why I’m full-time employed now. As for Joe, he’s been working 9 to 5 for, what Joe? The past seven years?

I lost count.
And our work on this blog has helped me get admitted to a Masters of Public Affairs program at a top notch school.
Motivated citizens trying to help their country through nonprofits and government agencies, I think THATS what the world needs more of.
